Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 2, 2026

Pillow Talk Studios (“Pillow Talk Studios”, “we”, “us”), is a

professional boudoir photography studio in Vernon, British Columbia. We know that booking a boudoir session

takes trust. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the

choices you have. We handle personal information in line with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection

Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act

(PIPEDA).

This policy applies to our website, www.pillowtalkstudios.com, to our social media pages, and to the services we

provide to our clients.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out the booking/contact form on our website, email us, or message us on

social media, we collect the information you choose to share. This usually includes your name, email address,

phone number, the type of session you are interested in, preferred dates, and any details you include in your

message.

Information collected when you book and attend a session. To plan and deliver your session, we may collect

details such as your session preferences, wardrobe and styling choices, location details for shoots outside our

studio, and any information you share with us to make you comfortable. We also create photographs of you during

your session.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, our website platform and the analytics and

advertising tools described in Section 5 may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and

device type, the pages you visit, how you arrived at our site (for example, from an ad on Facebook or Instagram),

and the date and time of your visit. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies, subject to the choices

you make in our cookie banner.

We do not take payments through our website. We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send us, government ID

numbers or health information through our website form.

2. Your photos

Boudoir images are personal, and we treat them that way.

Nothing is shared without your written consent. We will never post, publish or share any image from your

session (on our website, social media, advertising, or anywhere else) unless you have given us full, written

consent first.

You choose. You decide which images, if any, may be shared. There is never any pressure to have your photos

posted. Keeping your photos completely private is always fine.

You can change your mind. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us (see Section 11). We

will remove your images from our website and our social media accounts within a reasonable time. We cannot

recall images that have already been printed or reshared by others before you withdrew consent.

Limited access. Your images are only accessed by the people who need them to deliver your session and

images, such as our photographer and, where applicable, our editing or gallery-delivery providers. They are

stored securely and are never sold.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information only for the purposes we have told you about, or that a reasonable person would

expect, including to:

respond to your inquiry and answer your questions;

book, plan and deliver your session, including hair and makeup services;

deliver your images and any products you order;

send you updates, offers and news by email, if you have agreed to receive them (see Section 4);

understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it;

measure how well our advertising works and show our ads to people who may be interested in our services (see

Section 5); and keep business records and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

If we want to use your personal information for a new purpose, we will ask for your consent first unless the law

allows us to proceed without it.

4. Email marketing

With your consent, we may send you emails about our sessions, availability, promotions and studio news. We send

these emails through a third-party email marketing service. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the

“unsubscribe” link in any marketing email or by contacting us. We follow Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation

(CASL). Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not stop messages we need to send you about a session you

have booked.
